What Guests Are Saying
The campground was clean and the level concrete site with full hookups made it a great value. The multi-day season pass for the waterpark was a great deal, and it was very convenient being only a couple minutes' walk to the entrance.
Enjoyed our stay at Nashville Shores Campground. Our site was a premium water site next to Percy Priest Lake. The grounds are well maintained, and the campground has access to much more than most — a large waterpark, a BBQ restaurant at the marina, and watercraft for rent.
Wonderful stay! Beautiful park, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and close enough to downtown to enjoy the attractions. We are already recommending the park to friends.
Clean, well-maintained campground. Staff is very helpful. Been there multiple times. Checkout is 10 as opposed to 11 at many parks, so plan accordingly.

Common questions, answered
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to the cabins from the airport?
BNA is about 12 miles away — roughly 20 minutes in light traffic. Take I-40 East to Exit 221 (Bell Road) and follow Bell Road to Nashville Shores at 4001 Bell Rd. Rideshare from BNA runs about $25–35 each way.
Where do we park? Can I park at the cabin?
Yes. Every cabin has dedicated parking immediately adjacent. Up to two vehicles per cabin — extra vehicles park at the campground overflow lot, ~3 minutes' walk.
Is the waterpark included with a cabin stay?
Not bundled by default, but cabin guests get exclusive discounts on waterpark day passes (and Ziplines & Ropes Course tickets) — purchased at check-in or anytime during your stay. Lock in your dates first; you'll get the best savings buying tickets after you arrive, not in advance.
What's there for kids besides the waterpark?
Two playgrounds, an arcade, the dog park, fishing off the marina docks, basketball and shuffleboard courts, Frisbee golf, a swimming beach, and the marina runs kayak/SUP/paddle boat rentals. Sunset is a whole event — bring marshmallows.
Are pets allowed? What's the policy?
Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly cabins — note this on the booking page or call ahead. Pets must be on a leash outside the cabin, and please clean up after them. Specific pet fees and limits: [PET_POLICY_DETAILS].
Can I park a big rig if I'm towing an RV?
Most cabin guests don't tow, but if you're combining a cabin stay with an RV in your group, our adjacent RV park has sites for all RV types — from pop-ups to Class A motorhomes. Call (615) 889-7434 if you're coordinating a multi-site booking.
How many people can stay in a cabin?
Cabins and RV sites are limited to 6 registered guests per reservation, and they're for registered guests only — you can't invite additional visitors to the cabin or site. If you're planning a larger gathering, ask about our waterpark or Ziplines & Ropes Course party packages.
What's nearby — restaurants, groceries, downtown?
Downtown Nashville is 10 miles / 15–20 minutes. Mt. Juliet's commercial strip (Publix, Kroger, Target, restaurants) is 8 minutes east. There's a General Store on-property for ice, firewood, snacks, and quick essentials. Hermitage and Old Hickory have local restaurants 10 minutes north.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The cabins are full-feature year-round — heat, AC, full kitchen, indoor everything. The waterpark and outdoor attractions close in severe weather, but the resort itself is comfortable rain or shine. We don't issue refunds for weather; we recommend trip insurance for high-confidence dates.
Is the resort open year-round?
The cabins and RV park are open year-round. The waterpark, ziplines, and seasonal activities run roughly Memorial Day through Labor Day, with select shoulder-season weekends. Always check the homepage for current operating dates.
Do you have any ADA-accessible cabins?
Yes — a portion of our cabins are ADA-accessible with ramps, wider doorways, and roll-in showers. Note your needs at booking or call (615) 889-7434 ahead of time and we'll match you to the right unit.
Can I have a campfire at my cabin?
Yes — every cabin has a private fire ring. Firewood is sold at the General Store (please don't bring outside firewood; it spreads invasive pests). Burn bans occasionally apply in dry conditions — staff will let you know at check-in if one is in effect.
How early can I check in / how late can I check out?
Standard check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. All guests check in at the General Store — please have your ID ready. We'll happily store your bags before or after if you want to spend the day at the lake. Early check-in and late check-out are case-by-case based on cabin turnover — just ask.
What's the booking policy — when do I pay?
A deposit is taken at booking; the remaining balance is charged on or before arrival. Cancellation terms vary by date and rate type — see your confirmation email or call the front desk to confirm the specifics for your reservation.
Can I bring a boat or jet-ski?
Yes — and there's a public boat ramp at Cook Recreation Area, less than a mile away. The marina at Nashville Shores rents jet-skis, pontoons, kayaks, SUPs, and more if you don't want to tow your own. Boat trailer parking on-site is limited; call ahead if you're bringing one.
